What do I do if I forget the password?

„Forgot password“ leads you by steps to a new sign-in. This works if you already have an email or codes.

Step by step

  1. Open the screen „Sign in to Semanty“.
  2. Tap „Forgot password“.
  3. Do what it says on the screen.
  4. At the end you choose a new password.

What you may see

  • „I know the username“ means that you know the name.
  • „I forgot the username“ is if you do not know it.
  • Username means the user name.
  • „Recovery code“ is a saved code.
  • „Recovery email“ is an email for recovery.
  • „Passkey / biometrics“ is a finger or a face.
  • There is a button „Continue“.
  • There is a button „Check code“.
  • There is a button „Send code“.
  • The „New password“ field is for the new password.
  • There is a button „Change the password“.

How to get ready

  1. Open „Menu“.
  2. Open „Protection and recovery“.
  3. This is done if you want.
  4. Do it while you still know the password.
  5. There you add a recovery email.
  6. There you also make codes.
  7. Tap „Generate new codes“.
  8. Tap „Copy the codes“.
  9. Save them outside the phone.
  10. Tap „Activate codes“.
  11. „Passkey / biometrics“ asks for codes to be on.

Good to know

  • Recovery means getting your sign-in back.
  • Semanty does not keep the password as text.
  • That is why you make your own way back.
  • „Show password“ helps, before you forget it.

If it does not work

  • Check the email and the code character by character.
  • If you remember the password, sign in with „Sign in“.
