How do I reply, forward, or delete a message?

Step by step

1. Open the chat.
2. Hold a finger on the message.
3. On the computer, hold the left button.
4. Or press the right button.
5. For a reply, tap „Reply“.
6. For a copy, tap „Copy“.
7. For another chat, tap „Forward“.
8. To delete only for you, tap „Delete for me“.
9. To delete for everyone, tap „Delete for everyone“.

Good to know

• You add a reaction from „Choose a reaction“.
• You can use 👍, ❤️, 😂, 😮, 😢, or 👎.
• „Delete for me“ hides the row only for you.
• „Delete for everyone“ removes it for everyone in the chat.
• Some actions are only for your messages.
• The screen shows what is allowed for you.
• A sent message is not corrected.
• A message with a timer is not forwarded.
• A forwarded one carries the label „Forwarded“.
• After „Copy“, „Copied“ appears.
• If there is no text, „No text to copy“ appears.

Confirm before you delete for everyone. Then the message is removed for everyone in the chat. „Delete“ is the confirmation when you delete only for yourself.
