How do I write and send messages?

You write in the field at the bottom of the chat. Then you tap „Send“.

Step by step

  1. Open the chat list.
  2. Tap the person or the group.
  3. Write in the field at the very bottom.
  4. Tap „Send“.
  5. If the keyboard allows it, Enter also sends.

Good to know

You write normally, with ordinary words. Your person in Semanty sees the original. Outside, the same message looks like different, ordinary text.

  • In a private chat you see „typing…“ while the other person writes.
  • A sent message is not corrected.
  • At the top is the name of the person or the group.
  • The „Back“ arrow takes you back to the list.
  • The newest messages are at the bottom.
  • Scroll up to see older ones.
  • The chat history sits in the middle.
  • Each row in the list shows the last message.
  • Next to it the time is also seen.
  • Unread chats stand out more clearly.
  • Above the list there is a field „Search chat…“.
  • The „Recently active“ bar is for a quick choice.
  • Next to the field there are emoji, files, and voice.
  • The „To the bottom“ button takes you down to the new ones.
  • The ☰ menu leads to friends and groups.
  • On the computer the menu comes out on the right.

If sending is waiting, you see „Waiting…“ or „Sending…“. If it does not go, you see „Failed“.

Hold a message if you want a menu with actions. There you copy, reply, or delete. The screen shows only what is allowed for you.
