What is a panic PIN?
A panic PIN is a second PIN, if someone makes you unlock. It deletes the keys and the history, and this cannot be undone.
Step by step
- Open the menu.
- Tap „Phone protection“.
- Turn on „Panic deletion“.
- Type a PIN in the „PIN“ field.
- Type the same one in „Repeat PIN“.
- Tap „Save“.
- Remember this PIN.
- It needs at least 4 characters.
When someone makes you
- Leave the screen „Semanty is locked“.
- Enter the panic PIN instead of a face or a finger.
- It looks like an ordinary opening.
- Instead, the keys are deleted.
- The history is deleted too.
- What is deleted does not come back.
- The lock turns on by itself.
Good to know
- This PIN does not unlock Semanty.
- You use it on the unlock screen.
- You type it instead of a face or a finger.
- If it is shorter than 4 characters, it is not saved.
- Then it says „The PIN must be at least 4 characters“.
- If the two fields do not match, it is not saved.
- Then it says „The two fields do not match“.
- „Panic mode“ in the settings is a different thing.
- There, only the ordinary text is hidden.
- With it, nothing is deleted.
- The stranger face also does not delete the keys.
