How do I pair with a friend for the foreign channel?

Step by step

1. Open the menu.
2. Tap „Foreign channel“.
3. Tap „Pairing“.
4. Write a name in „Channel name“.
5. Tap „Create“.
6. Tap „Share the link“.
7. Send it by Viber, WhatsApp, or SMS.
8. Your friend opens it.
9. Semanty pairs you at once.

If you are next to each other

• Show the QR code.
• The button is „Share QR code“.
• The QR code is also there when the link cannot be tapped.
• On the other side they can tap „Accept the sign“.
• If the sign arrives on its own, open „Foreign channel“ and tap „Accept the sign“.

Good to know

• You pair once.
• The pairing stays on the phone.
• Share the sign by another path.
• Not by the path on which you later send the letters.
• You can give the link to more people.
• In „My channels“ you share the link again.
• „Forget this channel“ stops the reading of the old texts on it.
• Both of you must be on Gold for a letter to be read.

If it does not work

• If the sign is cut off, copy all of it once more.
• If it is from another version, the other side makes it again.
• If the photo has no readable QR, send the link as text.
