We are not another mass chat
We do not measure success in billions of users. We measure whether a small circle can speak in peace.
| Semanty | A mass messenger | |
|---|---|---|
| Phone number | Not required | Usually mandatory |
| Address book | Not uploaded | Often read to see “who is here” |
| How you connect | In person, with a QR | Search by number or username |
| Circle | Small, on purpose | Everyone, plus groups and noise |
| What the screen looks like | An ordinary conversation | The brand’s familiar chat |
| Writing elsewhere | Android keyboard; desktop Mail mode | You stay inside their app |
| Computer | Its own client, and offline for encoding | Usually a browser or their client |
This is not a ranking of “who is more secure”. Signal, Threema and others do their job. We are for a different gesture: a quiet tool, not a network.
